Adam Woolacott is a Physiotherapist with a Masters Degree in Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy. Musculoskeletal physiotherapists are health professionals with advanced postgraduate training in the assessment and diagnosis of musculoskeletal conditions, particularly back and neck pain. Adam has extensive experience in sports injury management, exercise therapy and chronic pain education. Adam works in the Bega clinic.

Naomi White is a physiotherapist and hand therapist, with 30 years experience, 20 of these years in the Bega Valley. Naomi is one of only 100 Australian hand therapists, and has extensive experience in treatment of upper limb conditions. Naomi has worked as a clinician and manager locally, both in private practice, and in the public sector.
Recent courses Renee Pirozzi has attended:
Renee Pirozzi studied physiotherapy at the University of Sydney and graduated with honours. After spending some time in public health, Renee joined Sapphire Coast Physiotherapy and assisted in opening our Cooma Clinic and more recently Jindabyne clinic. Renee has a special interest in sports injuries, post operative rehabilitation, dry needling and general musculoskeletal conditions. Renee has experience in workplace physiotherapy and aims to provide comprehensive physiotherapy services of high quality to the local community.
Matthew Lehoczky graduated from the University of Queensland before working in a hospital for a number of years. Matthew then transitioned to musculoskeletal physiotherapy, having most recently worked in a multi-disciplinary clinic on the Gold Coast. Matthew has a special interest in cervical pain, particularly cervico-genic head aches, as well as chronic pain and general musculoskeletal conditions. Matthew combines a variety of techniques including acupuncture, manual therapy and motor control / specific exercise.
Nicole Staight is a physiotherapist who has been working in Merimbula for the past 10 years in the area of musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Nicole also has post graduate qualifications in bothacupuncture and clinical pilates and runs both individual and group sessions in clinical pilates. Nicole is an accredited PINC and STEEL cancer physiotherapist. The PINC and STEEL programs are specific, individualised physiotherapy rehabilitation programs designed to help women and men function at optimal levels through every stage of their treatment and recovery. Nicole is also accredited in PINC Next Steps which is a specialised group exercise program combining pilates, yoga and cardiovascular exercises designed to help women rebuild their strength, flexibility and stamina after cancer treatment. Nicole works at our Merimbula clinic.
Neil Dmytryk received his Master of Physiotherapy at the University of Canberra. Neil has worked in Public and Private Hospitals before commencing work at Sapphire Coast Physiotherapy. Neil's interests include Musculoskeletal and sports injuries, workplace rehabilitation and conditioning programs, and chronic pain.
Tegan Butters studied Physiotherapy at Charles Sturt University with a keen interest in working in rural areas having grown up locally in Merimbula. Tegan has a special interest in Pilates, having completed further post graduate training in DMA Clinical Pilates for Physiotherapists applying many of the concepts and theories to general musculoskeletal conditions. Tegan has also completed further training in Women’s Health Physiotherapy with special interest in pre and post natal conditions. Tegan also works in a variety of fields including fracture clinic and nursing home services.
Helen Weston has 33 years as a physiotherapist working in all classes of musculoskeletal and neurological injury. She has particular expertise in workplace based rehabilitation. Clinically she takes a holistic approach drawing upon treatment methods based on both mechanical re-integration approaches and neuroscience best evidence research and implementing these strategically within the context of her patients physical, social, work and leisure objectives. Her treatment approach includes a wide range of soft tissue techniques, joint mobilisation and alignment, movement and mindfulness in quietening responses and re-establishing improved neuromuscular function, acupuncture, postural re-integration techniques, injury and pain management education and graded activity programming.

Eliza studied at The University of Sydney and worked in a number of Sydney Hospitals prior to relocating to the Snowy Mountains. Eliza is an avid skier, having previously been a competitive mogul skier, before moving into coaching aerials and moguls. Eliza has a special interest in sports injuries and rehabilitation and is based in the Cooma and Jindabyne clinics.
Stephanie is a graduate from the University of Newcastle who was based at the Univeristy's Department of Rural Health in Tamworth for her final year of study. This experience and Steph's passion for running and all things surf and snow saw the Sapphire Coast as an ideal location for her physiotherapy career. Steph also works at the Bega District Hospital. She is looking forward to the challenge and diversity that comes with working in both Private Practice and Public Health. Stephanie works at our Merimbula clinic.
Erin Thompson is a graduate from the University of Newcastle. Whilst studying physiotherapy, Erin gained experience working as a physiotherapy assistant at a local private hospital, and completed her Honours research in the field of wheelchair sports. Erin relocated to the Bega Valley to work publicly and privately and has a variety of physiotherapy interests, including sporting injuries and chronic pain.

Edward Moore studied at University of Sydney, graduating in 2015. Edward grew up in rural Corowa so he is well aware of injuries and workplaces specific to rural areas. Edward enjoys skiing and during a season at Whistler working as a Physio Aide he helped manage a vast array of skiing and snow related injuries. Edward works at our Cooma clinic.
Ben Munro is a graduate from the University of Sydney. Ben has a keen interest in Sports physiotherapy and will be doing sports coverage with the Bega roosters. Originally from Merimbula, Ben is looking forward to giving back to the community he grew up in. Ben has undergone further study in Hands physiotherapy and is also a qualified personal trainer and has a degree in exercise science.

Andrea Rogers has joined our team after working the last 8 years in the Victorian ski fields hence she is well experienced in winter sports related injuries. Andrea completed her undergraduate Physiotherapy studies at Latrobe University and then returned to complete her Masters of Physiotherapy at University of Melbourne. Andrea has also completed her Sports Level 2 with the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
Harry studied physiotherapy at the University of Newcastle, graduating in 2016. Whilst studying, Harry gained valuable experience working for local sporting teams. As a keen sportsman, Harry has a special interest in sports injuries and musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Harry works in our Cooma clinic.
Charlie Shepherd completed his Physiotherapy degree with honours at Charles Sturt University. During this time, he conducted research that looked into the condition commonly known as Tennis Elbow. Having grown up in Pambula, Charlie was excited at the opportunity to move back home to the Bega Valley and is eager to contribute to the local community.
James completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree at Charles Sturt University in Albury. Originally from the Canberra region, James has moved to the Far South Coast and is excited to work with the Merimbula community and manage a variety of musculoskeletal conditions, sporting injuries and post-surgery recovery in both young and older patients.. James has a solid background in skiing and playing soccer and is enthusiastic about helping athletes with their rehabilitation and return to sport. James works at our Merimbula clinic.
Samuel is originally from Warrnambool in Victoria. He completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) with Monash University in Melbourne in 2015. Since, Samuel has worked in a large public Hospital, rural clinics and in private practices’. This has given him a wide range of experience in all fields of Physiotherapy, in addition to the ongoing professional development courses he has completed. Samuel have a particular interest in chronic pain, shoulder, back, hip pain and spinal health.
